Destination d’excellence® / Marque Qualité Tourisme®

The Destination of Excellence brand highlights our commitment to providing high-quality hospitality and services. To obtain this label, you must successfully complete a quality approach that complies with the Destination of Excellence® criteria. The essential requirements for satisfying tourism customers include a warm welcome, attentive staff, foreign language proficiency, personalized services, clear and accurate information, guaranteed cleanliness and comfort, the discovery of a destination, and consideration of customer feedback.

DISABLED TOURISM

The state label Tourism and Disability is a response to the demand from people with disabilities who want to be able to choose their holidays and leisure activities freely. The label guarantees effective reception adapted to the essential needs of people with disabilities. The assessment documents used prior to certification were developed in consultation between tourism service providers’ associations and representatives of people with disabilities.

Club coups de cœur de Charentes Tourisme

Member of the “Coups de Cœur” club since 2016. A club of 10 remarkable sites in the Charentes region.

FAMILY PLUS LABEL

Supported by the State tourism authorities, this label aims to recognize businesses that have implemented a comprehensive approach to welcoming families. The criteria include: reception and information, activities, discovery and awareness of the environment and heritage, as well as family- and/or child-friendly pricing.

Charte Tourisme Durable Royan Atlantique

The tourist office has implemented a Sustainable Tourism Charter to support tourism providers engaged in an eco-responsible and environmentally friendly approach, and to give visibility to these initiatives. In order to better respond to the evolution of tourism demand, which is increasingly sensitive to environmental protection, the tourist office supports initiatives that promote the development of responsible tourism.

Label 1action1arbre

At 1 Action 1 Arbre, each contribution has a concrete impact on the ground. By joining this initiative, we directly help fund real reforestation projects, carried out in partnership with committed stakeholders in the French forestry sector.

These projects are implemented in different regions and address specific environmental challenges: – Restoring degraded forests, – Recreating wooded areas in agricultural or residential zones, – Strengthening local biodiversity, – And actively contributing to the fight against climate change by reducing our carbon footprint.

We are sometimes victims of our own success, so we strongly recommend booking in advance! This allows us to welcome you under the best possible conditions.

Appropriate footwear

For your safety, we ask that you wear closed-toe shoes that cover at least the heels and toes, as well as clothing suitable for outdoor activities. (Crocs, flip-flops, and sandals are not permitted.)
